Ultrakool SLH is a premium heat transfer fluid for gas compression engines. It’s industry leading formulation includes premium anti-scaling technology with its nitrite-based corrosion inhibitor package. It contains no amine or ammonium compounds and is not injurious to non-ferrous metals, such as brass or aluminum.
As an added safeguard this product does not decompose at temperatures found in supercharged engines. Ultrakool SLH is formulated to inhibit corrosion of iron, copper and aluminum and contains additives to promote metal filming to prevent cavitation of cylinder walls in both high speed and low speed engines. This property is especially important for protection of the cylinder wet liner sleeves of large industrial engines.
Product Features
- The high quality, virgin ethylene glycol fluid base of Ultrakool SLH contains less than 0.5% by weight of diethylene glycol or other glycols making it a premium heat transfer fluid
- Ultrakool SLH is buffered to maintain a pH of 8.4-9.4 in properly maintained fluid
- Reserve alkalinity level will allow it to resist fluid oxidation thus extending the life of the glycol
- Possesses a surface wetting-agent quality (changing the surface tension of the water) that allows the inhibitor to effectively reach the metal surface and apply a continuous protective film
- Acts to create smaller, less aggressive vapor bubbles that have a less violent collapse
